from sundown to sundown
A quiet hall for
Shabbat fellowship
Selah Shabbat opens each week from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday β a gathering place to rest, read the week's portions together, and share fellowship in conversation. Free to join, always.
The Weekly Portions
The Torah portion (parashah) and its Haftarah, drawn live each week, alongside a rotating passage from the New Testament.
Fellowship Hall
A shared forum for everyone gathered β open during the Shabbat window, resting quietly the rest of the week.
Private Messages
Quiet one-to-one conversation with any other member of the fellowship.
Why sundown to sundown?
The biblical day begins in the evening β βand there was evening, and there was morning.β The fellowship hall follows that rhythm: it opens at candle-lighting on Friday and closes at havdalah on Saturday, so that the space itself keeps Shabbat with you. Times are drawn from a free calendar service for your community's location.
